TGI IS BACK --- With a thoughtful reminder..

This is indeed a new generation for The Graffiti Inn...

I know it's been a long while...  And things will indeed happen... But to truly appreciate art, you can't always seek to capture it, but just to enjoy it...

Our love for the arts will never fade, and we give back simply what the world will allow us to experience.

...---+8+---...
Enjoy yourself..
Take your time..
Experience Peace of Mind..

Don't spend your whole life in front of an illuminated screen, if you seek to gain peace.
Cherish the beauty around you and cast away those ugly feelings of doubt.
Soon you'll realize, all that fear is  unnecessary, shed yourself of it.
Be who you truly are...

Gangbanging the Box.... truck that is {Union Square, LES}

I like that title...

Saw this superfunky box-truck out on Union Sq., in Manhattan, yes New York City... Union Square is already know as an artsy and hip area, but this piece made me stop and take a second look. I love the style of the original art work, of course there's a bunch of stuff layered on top, but you can see the original GANG graffiti shining through. Read on for more pics...

Some dude directly in the way of the camera... I actually think its' a pretty cool shoot. Don't know if you recognized it or not already...

Spillout at the Vill, Jamming in my head still {The Village, Manhattan}

After an amazing performance, at the Bowery Poetry Club, featuring Stereo Crowd, Freddy Feugo, Pitch Black, and more... I took a nice lil mosey down Houston st (i believe), headed toward the Bway Laffeyette station. And what did i find you ask... A delightful young character named Jasper, putting in wizzork on a hand drum. So me, being the charming young aspiring musician that I am, asked him if it was a djembe that he was playing, it was.. And he kindly asked me to join in... I DID.. after throwing down on the djembe for awhile, I busted out Ms. Monica, aka my harmonica, and got the jam into full swing. We were then joined by a female singer spitting some lyric on top of the mix, and many a passer-by.. Groovy times I say..
After the jam was wrapped, I head down the block to find this fruitfully artistic creation of a truck, sitting in the alleyway... Out came the camera.... Gotta love NYC.

The anarchy top hat is siiiccck, yet I don't think it's quite Uncle Sam's style.... GOOD

I don't know who this guy is...

Looks like some Canadian graff eh, this guy's work is all over Montreal, just amazing stuff. The artistic scene in the city of Montreal is just absurd, it's beautiful..
